| Imy 2004 acura tl has a crack in the dashboard on the passenger side. i have owned the vehicle since 2007 and take very good care of it. i couldn't believe how many other acura owners have this same problem. how could it be coincidental...sounds like a defect that acura is ignoring. am concerned about the safety of the airbag. | |||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2004 acura 3.2tl. while the contact was driving approximately 50 mph, the airbag warning indicator illuminated until the engine was turned off. the failure occurred whenever the engine was in operation. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis. the technician informed that the dashboard exhibited a hairline crack near the front passenger airbag housing which caused the airbag sensor to activate. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the defect. the failure mileage was approximately 100,000. | |||

| Dashboard on my 2004 acura tl is cracking around the airbags, feel very unsafe about it being deployed. acura has mentioned on the phone it is not their problem. however after reading various other owners complain about the same issue this is not a one thing, this is a defected automobile and i will not have my children or my wife or anyone that rides with me in that car sit in the front seat. | |||

| I have an 2004 acura tl with cracked dash on multipile location including one next to the airbag which could be could be a safety hazard. there is even a face book group acura tl defective dash with hundreds of acura tl owners experinencing the same problem, but acura/honda is not willing to do anything about it. | |||

| My 2004 acura tl has developed a large crack around the passenger side front air bag in the dash. this was at one time a completely sealed unit. the concern is that if there were to be a deployment, that either the deployment will not happen, incorrect deployment because of the seal being defective, or the cracked portion of the dash flying off and injuring or killing a person if deployed. | |||

| I have a 2004 acura tl that the plastic dash is cracking around the passenger airbag. apparently this is a very common defect due to the many owners of 2004 and 2005 tl owners with the same problem i've found on the internet. i, and my mechanic feel this could effect the deployment of the passenger side airbag, and is a potential safety concern. | |||

| On november 19, my 2004 acura tl was struck squarely on the driver's side door causing in excess of $5000 damage. for whatever reason, the side airbag did not deploy. i have written acura client services asking if there was some reason for this but they haven't given me the courtesy of an acknowledgement much less a reply. i don't know if there's a defect or and explanation as to why the bag did not deploy. *nm | |||
