On thursday, july 17, 2008, the air conditioning system on my 2002 acura 3.2tl ceased to operate without any prior warning. an analysis of the problem revealed that the wire harness, which connects to the a/c blower motor, had severely melted to the receptacle that it plugs into on the blower. it appeared as if though a short had occured which caused the wires and connector to melt. my concern is that this may cause an unecessary fire within the vehicle while it's being operated. to remedy the problem, i purchased a new blower motor and harness from my local acura dealer and replaced the defective parts. both of the defective parts are available for examination. digital photos are available as well. *tr
