Driving on highway and gas petal failed to operate proper....after slowing down to about 20 mph it started up again and i regained the speed of about 60. then in abourt 2 miles it happened again, i got off the highway and took to the closest acura dealer.they replaced the app sensor and noted pedal position sensor failure the pedal positionm sensor was replaced. this happened on june 5, 2012, then on september 3, 2012 i was parking in our office parking lot and the gas petal accelerated as i was putting the gear shift in the park postion. i accelerated so fast i hit the concrete stop took off airborn went over the embankment and down to the street below. needless to say the car entire front end was wrecked. the seat belt did indeed save me from more serous injury than i did received.
