| Tl*the contact owns a 2005 airstream safari bambi trailer. while driving 75 mph, the brakes failed and the contact lost control of the trailer. the trailer was taken to the dealer, but they were unable to determine the cause of the failure. the dealer reconnected the brake wires. upon further investigation, the contact was able to determine that the steel plate that holds the brake assembly was not welded to the axle housing, which caused the brake wires to be torn from the brake assembly. the contact called the manufacturer and was informed to submit pictures. the pictures were sent and the contact was informed not to pull the trailer because it was unsafe. no compensation would be made because the warranty was expired. the trailer is currently being repaired. the failure and current mileages were unknown. | |||
