 1) the motorcycle was being ridden through a curve at approximately 45 mph. 2) the vehicle developed front end oscilations (front end wobble) that led to a collision with a guard rail. the rider was injured and the motorcycle was damaged.*ak 3) inspection of the headstock revealed the internal stop set pins were not recessed such that they interfered with the lower bearing. in addition, the set screws for the center stem nut were not engaged as designed.
