Consumer noticed water coming from underneath the passenger side seat from the heating docks. this occurred after vehicle was parked in the driveway in a rain storm over night. dealership indicated that this occurred because the drain located under the battery compartment, under the hood, got blocked up and water backed up into the cabin of the vehicle through the heating docks. this resulted in the transmission being submerged in water. *ak

Interior and exterior door handles of the two front doors occasionally fail to unlatch the door around 10% of the time. pulling on the door handle doesn't do anything - the door latch does not disengage. locking and unlocking the door doesn't help. after several repeated attempts on the handle it may finally successfully unlatch the door. sometimes it may also open from the opposite door handle (e.g. if the interior handle is not working, the exterior handle may work). *nlm

The front bumper sits so low that it caught on a parking space concrete stop--when i started backing out of the space, the bumper nearly ripped off the car. the bumper did not just scrape the concrete space stopper, but instead caught onto it, resulting in considerable damage to the bumper assembly. the concrete space stop was of normal size and in its proper position. the car simply sat so low, and is designed in such a way that it hooks onto the concrete stop when backing out.*ak

Front bumper assembly torn away from vehicle, causing bumper and body damage. bumper 'grabbed' pre-formed cement parking barrier when placed in reverse. car did not touch barrier upon entering parking space. only upon placing vehicle in reverse did the bumper get caught and ripped away from body causing significant damage. this is the second time in the past six months that this has happened. *ak

Front bumper became grossly damaged by a preformed concrete parking barrier. driver has no way of knowing that the bumper is being damaged because the bumper never touches the barrier.
