While using the tire jack that came with the vehicle to lift it up off the ground and change a defective tire, it snapped. the car fell on the bricks we had set under the frame as backup. to correct the failure we stopped using the tire jack that came with the vehicle. after inspecting the jack we noticed that the plastic part of it was defective. this defect poses a serious personal injury issue for someone using these jacks without a backup. *jb
