2009 tt roadster audi engine caught fire while driving. the consumer stated he heard a pop in the engine compartment and immediately saw thick dark smoke coming from the front of the vehicle. he pulled over and within 30 seconds the engine area was engulfed in flames. in 30 minutes the vehicle was completely destroyed. the consumer suspected the battery coil pack failed. *jb | |||

Tl-the contact owns a 2009 audi 2.0t. the contact stated that while the driver was driving at approximately 25 mph, the vehicle suddenly lost power with no power brakes or power steering. the vehicle coasted to a stop. the vehicle was towed to an authorized dealership where the steering column, computer control panel and the ignition system. three days later, the failure occurred again almost causing an accident. the vehicle was towed to a different dealership where a relay was replaced. the contact called the manufacturer who offered no assistance. the current mileage was approximately 7,100. the failure mileage was approximately 7,000-bk |
