| Many new cars are being equipped with 'high intensity' headlamps (some referred to as xenon or hallogen). these are too bright! they produce a lot of glare, make it impossible to see beyond the glare where pedestrians, motorcycles or other cars may be obscured. at night, suvs or other 'raised elevation' vehicles have these bright lights directly in my rear-view and/or side mirrors, blinding me entirely. if i adjust the mirrors to prevent the light from shining into my eyes i cannot see into those areas around my car. in addition to the lamps themselves, some vehicles have lenses that focus the light into a tight beam. was this done to reduce the glare? if so, it's a failure! the intensity of this focused beam is so bright, the glare is secondary - the light hurts. this is brighter than the 'high beam' settings on most cars - and we're not allowed to drive around with those shining into peoples' eyes!*ak | |||

| Use of high beam headlights is annoying and dangerous to drivers ahead of the vehicles as we all turn our mirrors to night since the stupid lights are blinding. gm, saturn, oyota and bmw are the worst offendors. they must have morons for engineers. it should be mandated that parking lights be used if drl are required.*ak | |||

| I bought a car from guarantee automax in stafford, va on 3/3/07. the car still has paper tags and is not running. i went with a va state trooper to have the car inspected again and it failed. the tie rod was so loose i probably would have had an accident had i not detected this earlier. the problem has not been resolved by the dealer. he was trying to make me keep this vehicle, please help me get out of this unsafe vehicle. the car is a 99' cadillac deville 4 door sedan.*ak | |||
