| Firestone firehawk gt tire failed under normal driving conditions. tire tread separated from interior sidewall. tire was less than 2 years old and had logged fewer than 20,000 miles. tire damage occurred on short trip (<5 miles) and driver recognized that the tire was damaged before driving the car again. accordingly, there was no accident or injury. | |||
