| When beginning to drive, the vehicle would slam to the point where i thought i was rear ended. i took the car to my mechanic and he said it was the transmission and the fix was costly. continues to do this at times and will also do a smaller scale slam when slowing to a stop light or stop sign. *tr | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2005 bmw 545i. the contact stated that the vehicle was repaired under nhtsa recall campaign id number: 10v446000 (service brakes, hydraulic: power assist vacuum) and now the vacuum pump is leaking. the brake vacuum line was replaced, but that did not prvent the vacuum pump from failing. the contact spoke with the manufacturer and was told that the vacuum pump would not be replaced under the recall because only the brake line hose, brake booster and brake calibur were listed. the failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 77,000.rl | |||
