| On said date i was sitting idle while talking on my cell phone. the car was in park. it was cold in car so i went to turn the heat up and when i did the vehicle went into neutral and started to roll. i then stopped the car and turned it off. i then restarted the car and went to turn the heat on once again and the vehicle once again went into neutral. i then called bmw and advised them of what happened. the vehicle was already scheduled for a routine service the following week. on 2/22/13 i was parked in a parking lot and was exiting the car to step out for just a moment when the vehicle began to roll. i looked and the vehicle was in neutral. i had to turn vehicle off to get it into park. | |||

| Took my car in to be serviced and was informed of this leak in the vacuum pump and steering switch. consequently, i seen there was a recall for 2006 bmws with a nhtsa campaign id number of 10v446000 with a recall date of 2012-10-01 for the vacuum pump. i called the dealership and they told me my car wasn't included.....but i believe it should be. | |||

| While driving my grand daughter to school, my driver's side lock unlatched. because i was in the middle of morning traffic, i had to hold the door closed while i was driving until i was able to get off the road and call bmw to pick up the car. | |||

| I went to unlock my bmw 750 li driver door and get in but once i closed it would not lock close at all, nothing i did worked. eventually had to take my children to school holding the driver door with one hand while driving with the other. not safe at all. i have the soft close feature on my car, so i noticed it was not latching on after a little detective work. so not only does my driver door not shut, but i can't even unlock or lock my doors by either using the key remote or the unlock/lock button inside. very dangerous, and i can't believe there is not backup for the doors if the soft close feature is not working properly. this is not the first time i've had issues with the soft close doors, on the driver side rear door i have issues with as well. i have to hold the handle out and close for the soft close feature to catch the door. very unsafe and requires a recall. | |||

| I own a 2006 bmw 750li. i started having problems with my driver side door several weeks ago. my driver door would not shut. yesterday, i was at the grocery store, went back to my car, used the remote and the door opened. got into my car and my door would not shut. i tried to use the automatic lock and it did not work. i used the key on the driver side and waited until i heard it catch, this reengaged my lock so i was able to close the door. | |||
