 Tl* the contact owns a 2009 bmw k1300 gt motorcycle. the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the mileage counter for the fuel gauge did not display the amount of miles for the amount of fuel remaining. the vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced sensor on the fuel tank, and recalibrated the computer. the failure recurred. the dealer stated that the electronic control module needed to be replaced. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. the failure mileage was 658 and the current mileage was 13,000.
