| 2001 bmw x-5 with 96,296 miles on odometer, experienced a loud bang, front end vibrated and came to a complete stop while proceeding through a busy intersection. police officer called to scene. car would start but not move nor would the park gear hold the car from drifting. only the emergency parking brake would hold the car in a stopped position. vehicle was towed to a bmw dealer. repairs included rmfd trans box, drive shaft, rmfd output shaft-right and left were replaced a total cost of $5,248. *nm | |||
