| Tl-the contact owns a 2004 bmw z4. the contact stated that upon entering her vehicle and starting it up, she was unable to shift the vehicle into different gears. the vehicle was inspected by a dealer who informed the contact that she needed to replace the transmission which was automatic/manual. the vehicle was repaired for the transmission and the failure has occurred again 32,000 miles later. the manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact that they would not assist since the warranty expired. the failure mileage was approximately 41,900. tb | |||
