| Tl* the contact owns a 1993 buick century. the contact stated that the vehicle was started and the defroster was engaged. the contact then smelled a burning odor and noticed smoke emitting from the defroster area. the contact moved the vehicle from away from his residence and turned the engine off but the smoke continued. the contact then opened the hood and a fire erupted. the fire was extinguished and the contact sustained a knee infection from attempting to move the vehicle away from his residence. a fire report was available. the contact called the manufacturer who offered no assistance. the vehicle was not repaired. the current and failure mileage was approximately 230,000. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 1993 buick century. the contact stated that he turned the vehicle on to warm it up and activated the defroster. he smelled smoke and noticed that smoke was being emitted from the defroster area. he pushed the vehicle away from the house as he was unable to get in to turn it off. the contact turned off the ignition switch but the wiring was still smoking. when the contact opened the hood, the wiring suddenly caught fire. the fire was extinguished. the contact sustained an infection in his knee while trying to move the vehicle from the house. the contact called the manufacturer who offered no assistance. the vehicle had not been repaired. the current and failure mileages were approximately 230,000-bk | |||
