On my 2006 buick lacrosse, at about 48k miles there was a loud clicking noise from under the hood.....luckily i was still under warranty because it was a cracked flywheel (flex plate)......i go on my happy way and about 10 months later i have the same problem....and since i am over the mileage portion of the part warranty, gm refused to cover it 100%......ok, i realize its technically out of warranty, but there is nothing that i can do to that car to cause the flywheel to crack...something is making this happen and gm refuses to refund me. i spent hours and hours on the phone with gm.... *tr

2006 buick lacrosse. consumer states injury and accident due to a mechanical anomaly stating vehicle reversed on its own. the consumer stated she put the gear in park, opened the door and left it open while she walked approximately eight steps. as the consumer turned around, she saw the vehicle traveling backwards and ran to stop it. soon, the vehicle was in the middle of the street and she realized she couldn't get in the vehicle, but at that point the door apparently hit the consumer and knocked her to the pavement. the injury resulted in a concussion which eventually required brain surgery to remove a hematoma. *jb
