| Tl*the contact owns a 2004 buick rendezvous purchased new in 2004. she stated there was a clanking noise upon starting the vehicle and would get louder when progressing speed. she also stated there was much resistance in the brakes when approaching a stop. the dealer stated the hub bearings were faulty and needed to be replaced. the dealer also stated the brakes and tires could be affected. she was advised that the brakes needed to replaced and all four tires due to the faulty hub bearings at the owner's expense. the current and failure mileage was under 79,500. | |||

| Both front wheel bearings failed on my wife's 2004 buick rendezvous. a special 'extended warranty' was issued for the 2002 (nhtsa item #10020658). due to the relatively low mileage of the vehicle, the failure of both wheel bearings occurred long before it should have and i requested that her vehicle be included in the warranty as it fit the same criteria. the repair was costly and its unfair to have to pay for known defects and not get reimbursed. gm refuses to reimburse me. *tr | |||

| Rear differential will not stop groaning on any turn. rear differential now has to be replaced and the car only has 80,000 miles on it. we also have to replace the rack and pinion. the total costs associated with both these will be well over $5,000. it is effecting the turning process when i need to turn the car. also have a rack and pinion failure. the steering column completely locked up and the towing company had to put oil all over where the car was parked and slide it up to the cable to tow the car. entire steering mechanism replaced but now the rack and pinion has to be replaced. i think it is due to the steering column issue. that is when it started. | |||
