| Tl* the contact owns a 2006 buick terraza. the contact stated that the stability control warning light illuminated, causing the brakes to activate without warning. when the failure occurred, the vehicle would become difficult to control. the dealer made three attempts to duplicate the failure but to no avail. the vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who recalibrated the vehicle however, the failure continued. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not offer any assistance. the current mileage was 65,000 and the approximate failure mileage was 57,000. | |||

| My vehicle is equipped with anti lock brakes. the same system is used for traction control and stability control. my vehicle is prone to brake sensor failures. whenever one of the sensors fails the onboard diagnostic system disables all 3 of these safety features. i currently have the third sensor failure since i have owned the vehicle. *tr | |||
