| Tl*the contact owns a 2003 cadillac cts. after the vehicle was serviced for a routine oil change, it experienced a loss of power. while pulling out of the dealer parking lot at 20 mph, the contact depressed the accelerator pedal, but the vehicle lost power. the more he depressed the accelerator pedal, the less power the vehicle exhibited. the contact let up off the accelerator pedal and some power returned to the vehicle. the vehicle gradually gained power the more he released the pedal. the dealer reset the fuel injector switch; however, the failure recurred a few days later. the contact took the vehicle to a local auto part store and they performed a diagnostic test. the results indicated that three injectors were being misread. the contact must continuously pump the accelerator pedal in order for the vehicle to start. the vehicle currently still exhibits significant power loss and will shut off if given too much acceleration. no further repairs have been made. the failure mileage was 49,900 and current mileage was 51,000. updated 07/29/08 *bf updated 07/29/08 | |||

| I am and have been experiencing numerous failures with my vehicle. i have contacted gm numerous times beginning approximately a few months after i purchased the vehicle to inform them that the vehicle is defective, only to be told my vehicle is out of warranty, so they refuse to fix it or give my one that is not defective. my vehicle is still defective to this date. *tr | |||

| Steering mechanism failed on 2003 cadillac cts. *mr the power steering mechanism failed, which made the vehicle difficult to turn, which was replaced. both front struts were replaced due to leakage and the intermediate steering shaft bolt was under torqued. the left front shock leaked, the intake manifold leaked. the consumer was unable to pump gas due to a defective gas line. a rubbing sound was heard coming from the rear of the vehicle, squeaking from the front end, and a hollow sound when passing over bumps. the consumer requested that the dealer/manufacturer repair the vehicle in accordance to the lemon law bill. | The dealer unkinked a fuel tank hose. this problem made it difficult to pump gas into the tank. this vehicle is not getting the proper gas mileage and burns too much oil, engine cooler leaking fluid, when the vehicle sits overnight it has to be cranked two or three times before the engine starts . *jg *nlm | |||

| 2003 cadilac cts. consumer writes in regards to problems with brake system *tgw the consumer stated the metal brake line had to be replaced, due to severe corrosion. the consumer stated he received a recall letter two days later. also, the struts, three wheel bearings, radiator, transmission cooler line also had to be replaced due to corrosion. the cruise control and gas tank, which was leaking had to replaced. *jb | |||

| 2003 cadillac cts - i bought this car on 03/10/07, within 1 month the first failure was due to a transmission control module $370.00. the next failure was a month later when the throttle body assembly went bad $752.12 | |||

| 2003 cadillac cts. car fuel gauge went to empty resulting in car to die. speedometer and tactometer spiked then fuel gauge went to empty. fuel gauge was either full or half full each of the times. this problem has occurred 6 times. taken to three different dealers with none being able to diagnose problem. fuel pump was replaced, computer gauges reset but with no solution to problem. serious issue, as 4 of the times the car died, the car was on freeway. problem has occured 3 times since stated incident date | |||
