| While driving home from work i heard a slight crash noise, looked in my rear view mirror to see the bezel piece flew off my car and attached were the back up lights. the piece shattered and was irreplaceable. upon research in cadillac blogs i read that this was an ongoing problem with 03-05 cts cars due to gm using a cheap glue to hold the piece on. cadillac only agreed to replace the part if the car was still covered under their factory warranty, but i am not. further research showed that they don't even offer athe same replacement piece, now a new part only available in an assembly kit ranging between 4-500 dollars. i find it unethical to sell a luxury car, and build it with cheap plastic pieces that simply fall off due to cheap adhesive, and cause danger to drivers behind me. the fact that the part was discontinued only proves that cadillac acknowledges the piece was cheaply constructed, and should offer replacements to all early cts models. when assembling automobile only quality parts should be used, not cheap plastic with faulty glue, i feel this warrants a recall, but one wasn't issued. thanks for your time. | |||

| I've had numerous problems ever since i bought my 2003 cadillac cts. my engine starts smoking under the hood when i turn on my heater when it's cold outside. i replaced my brake lights several times. my winshield wiper module is broke. i had to get a new motor for my window because that broke. i had nothing but problems with this car and many other people have the same conditons as me. why isn't it on recall ??? i mean we payed good money for it so we should get the same quality back !!! i know gm has to review our comments. they just don't care about there customers. gm needs better customer service because there service sucks!!!! recall....recall....recall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2003 cadillac cts. the contact stated that in december 2009 she was going home at a slow speed and noticed she didn't have any brakes. she got the vehicle home and had the brakes repaired at her own expense. there is a nhtsa recall notice in effect, nhtsa campaign id number: 10v105000. she is currently trying to get reimbursed for the brake failure repairs. she also stated she has air bag issues. the plastic containment module for the air bags protrudes outward and is a safety concern. the dealer stated that failure was not under warranty and repair would be at her expense. the radio only gets one channel. also, the moon roof makes a groaning noise and opens itself when the vehicle is turned off. the failure mileage was approximately 30,000. ther current mileage is approximately 42,000. rd | |||
