| While backing out of a parking space driver applied the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. vehicle was unable to stop. driver shifted the vehicle into drive and turned the vehicle off. then, restarted it, and drove to the dealer. mechanic determined that the master cylinder and other parts needed to be replaced. driver informed the mechanic that this problem happened more than once and had not been resolved. *ak | |||

| 1. driving 2004 cadillac dhs, in rush hour traffic 7 jan 06 on friday, 2. complete brake failure. only through divine intervention was there not a accident! 3. vehicle was towed to dealer, broken part replaced. without use of my auto until tuesday. (note, the gm road service operator made the comment that usually they talk with relatives of the driver, when this happens because of the results of the failure) i can supply the part number that failed. just not at this moment. i all so think that this part is used across gms fleet, not just in the cadillac! *nm | |||
