| Tl*the contact owns a 2004 cadillac deville. on august 22, 2008, the contact inserted the key into the ignition and the air bags suddenly deployed. the deployment made a loud bang that startled him and his wife. the police and fire departments arrived and filed a report. the contact's wife sustained bruises on her body and face. the contact had the vehicle towed to the dealer for repair. since the repair, all of the other warning lights are illuminated on the instrument panel. his wife is scared to drive the vehicle. they spoke with the cadillac manufacturer, but they did not seem to care and offered no assistance. the vehicle was parked overnight in the contact's garage. the failure mileage was 21,743. updated 10/14/08 *bf the rear driver window was inoperative. updated 10/15/08. *jb | |||

| Within the past 20 months, i have had three of my window regulators break on my 2004 cadillac dhs and have paid over $1000 to repair two of them. the third is now going to cost me $690.00. i contacted gm and they refused to do anything about it claiming it is not their problem. the service manager at the local dealership advised there is a problem with 2001-2004 models and their window regulators. i also notice on-line that there are many complaints about the window regulators breaking, however gm refuses to do anything about it. is there any way that this could be looked into by the federal government and possibly cause a recall on these items because obviously gm is refusing to admit that there is a problem. thank you for your consideration. *tr | |||

| April 2007 right passenger power window went out. may 2007 right rear window. power window went out. december 2007 driver side power window has gone out. dealer has not offered any help or compensation. they gave me the phone number for their customer service headquarters. i called, they were nice and promised to speak to the dealer. it seems the dealer has not responded to the calls from customer service. now, customer service hasn't returned my call. i'm waiting for the fourth and final power window to go bad any minute. *tr | |||
