 2006 cadillac dts switching lanes when steering wheel is released. consumer states that the vehicle has switched lanes on the highway at 60 or more mph. he also states that the vehicle pulls hard to the left. *kb the consumer has taken the vehicle to the dealer for several alignments, but the problem remained the same. *jb

 Tl*the contact owns a 2006 cadillac dts. the contact stated that the stability control service light continuously illuminates. in order for it to dim, he must shut off and restart the vehicle. the on-star function stated that the vehicle is drivable, but needs to be taken to the dealer. the vehicle has been to the dealer between 8-10 times and they claimed to have repaired the failure. however, the failure always recurs within 15 miles of leaving the dealer. the current mileage was 29,611 and failure mileage was 9,087.

 2006 cadillac dts, mileage approx. 7,000. sudden, total failure of lower control arm. my father was driving the vehicle at low speed in a residential neighborhood in huntington beach, ca when the right lower control arm failed without warning, causing the vehicle to go up over the curb. significant damage to the vehicle. no injuries. local cadillac dealer has accepted responsibility and will repair the vehicle under warranty. *nm
