 Tl* the contact owns a 2010 cadillac dts. the contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle began to overheat and the low engine power warning light illuminated. in addition, the contact depressed the brakes and the vehicle failed to stop. the contact mentioned the emergency brakes had to be utilized in order to stop the vehicle. in addition, the air conditioner and the radio would power off independently. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the technician advised the contact that the water pump needed to be replaced. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not offer any assistance due to the vehicle not being included in any recalls. the vehicle was repaired. the approximate failure and current mileage was 22,000.
