My cooper tire discoverer lsx p265/70r17 split down the middle inbetween the treads.i have four months of use on this tire. they are strictly winter tires on my vechicle. we went to ntb where we bought the four tires. they took tire off to replace with a new i bought and inside was several hand fulls of rubber shavings. you could see the wire belts inside the tire wall was very thin.

While driving 65-70 mph, the left rear tire experienced a blowout (after market equipment installed at 13,000 miles, tire size 265/70r17, dot# unavailable at this time). this caused the vehicle to skid out of control, into a wheat field. the consumer stated the vehicle sustained damages to the front end and both front fenders. dealer was notified. please provide further information along with the dot# and complete this questionnaire. *jb

2002 cadillac escalade spare tire fell off the under-carriage as i was turning into my home driveway this is a full size tire and rim approx 50# if this would have happen on the expressway or major traffic route someone could have been hurt. took the car to the dealership and they advised they never saw anything like this before and had know idea how to repair it. this spare is hung by a bolt and twisted cable both which rusted thru this is what caused the tire to fall off. my car is maintained by the dealer and has 45,000 miles on it fyi. *tr

While driving approximately 65 mph front driver's side tire blew out. after checking the tires consumer noticed that the tire on front left had a split down the middle of the tread that was causing it to separate. afterwards, while driving heard noises that sounded like rubber hitting underneath the vehicle. checked the tires, and noticed that the rear left tire blew out and the steel belts were coming through it. *ak. consumer owned two cadillac escalade. oodyear tires wore out at approximately 25,000 miles. *ak |
