 Tl. the contact owns a 2008 cadillac escalade esv. the contact stated while driving 70 mph the vehicle suddenly accelerated up to 80 mph. the contact stated the throttle was complete stuck so the contact turned the key to the off position and the vehicle slowed down. the contact then turned the vehicle back on while it was moving. the contact then pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and shut the vehicle off. the contact restarted the vehicle again and the vehicle red-line so the contact shut the vehicle off. the contact wait 10 minutes to restart the vehicle and everything was fine. the contact was able to drive the vehicle home. the contact called roadside assistance and they towed the vehicle to a dealer. the dealer informed that they've experienced this situation on a older model vehicle and they believe the throttle body is the cause. the contact feels this vehicle is a death trap. the failure mileage was 22,000. jo
