We purchased a set of four tires from the same company on the same day they were put on. the manufacturer is general, p255/60r17 which are the rear tires for a cadillac srx 2004. both tires were the same, one currently has the belts showing on the right rear tire, the other is fine. the people who sold them to us said the warrenty is not valid because they weren't rotated. they said six months ago when we wanted them rotated, that they couldn't do that, because of the different sizes, we asked for them to be rotated from side to side, they wanted to charge for this, they no longer sell this brand of tire. the tires only have 23,000 miles on them when we took the car in this past monday oct. 11, 2010. they said this is normal wear for the right rear tire. it is abnormal to me because of the uneven wear..... what are we to do?
