	Catylatic coverter failed at approximately 83,000 miles. check engine light comes on and the manufacturer and the dealer replaced the converter. at 93,000 miles, received check engine light warning again and the code indicates that the catylatic converter is a problem. the side affect is that the car lacks power when having a need accelerate. gm has recalled the 2005 converter, but not the 2006.
