| The breakes went out - not totally out i but had to push the breaks all the way to the floor to get the car to slowely stop. i had very little stopping power. shortly thereafter (3- 4 minutes later ) the instrument break warning light came on. had i been going any faster i would have surely been in a serious accident. the car was towed to a chevrolet dealer. they discovered a leaking break line. they indicated that it was a result of excesssive rust in the break line. the warning light should have come on much sooner and the break line should not have rusted through. $3,000 later, it was fixed. | |||
