| While traveling 71 mph left rear tire disintegrated with no warning. tires had 30% wear with multiple breaks on inside of tire. *ak the consumer experienced several firestone tire separations and paid for four tires that were replaced. the consumer states the tires were defective and is requesting reimbursement from the tire manufacturer. | My spare tire support system failed causing the tire to fall from underneath the vehicle. i was travel at about 45 mph, luckily no one was behind me at the time. the tire bounced up off the pavement but stayed in my lane. this support system uses a 3/16 wire for it supporting the weight of the suspended tire. are there any recalls on this support system? jay kent *tr | |||
