Tl-the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet avalanche. the contact stated that while driving approximately 80 to 85 mph, he noticed that the locks would go up and down, the rpm's reached 1,000, and the vehicle would suddenly place itself into first gear until the vehicle gets down to normal speeds. the vehicle was then inspected by a dealer and they advised him that they would change 2 modulators. the vehicle was repaired for the 2 modulators and upon leaving the dealer and an hour into the drive the same failure occurred. the vehicle was then taken to another dealer and they advised him that they were unable to diagnose the failure. the manufacturer was then contacted and they advised him that the vehicle was safe to drive. the vehicle has been in and out to the dealer on 7 differednt occasions. the failure mileage was approximately 8,000. the vin was unavailble. tb
