| A pinhead size chip on the passenger side windshield base has created a crack spreading across the middle of the windshield. i believe this is a flaw in the windshield design, factory installation, and/or aerodynamic design. my web research has shown that other chevrolet owners have had this problem with the aveo and other models. the dealership does not accept any warranty responsibility. *tr | |||

| A stress crack in my windshield. the crack starts under the rubber casing of the windshield. i awoke in the morning after an extremely humid night followed by a cold morning to find my windshield with a hairline crack. dealer said this isn't a problem. i have researched the internet and found several complaints from the 04 through 07 model of the aveo with the same problem. my glass tech said this the crack is very likely due to a structural defect. *tr | |||
