I was driving on the highway when the engine light came on. the vehicle ran for a few minutes before it started losing power and chugging along on the highway. when i pulled off, i had to flutter on the gas to keep the car from stalling at the stop sign. to make it home on the back roads, i did not stop at stop signs for fear of the car stalling, i had the gas pedal to the floor and it was only going approximately 10 mph. i did not drive it to the dealership, it was towed. they found several engine control module updates. reflashed ecm code s47490d. performed campaign 11290 spark plugs and boot. while at dealership, tech found rear shocks were leaking. e5807 - rear shock absorbers replaced, both sides. *tr

2010 chevrolet aveo. consumer states problem with vehicle not having power *tgw several months after the vehicle was purchased, the consumer began experiencing situations where there was absolutely no power. she would be driving down the road, highway or interstate and all of a sudden the vehicle would begin to slow down, and when pressing the accelerator, there was absolutely nothing. she would pull off to the side of the road, turn the vehicle off and back on and it would go again. the dealer performed the po132 bulletin 100604012. the consumer then took the vehicle to firestone, because the check engine light illuminated for the second time and she continued to have no power. the consumer then went to another dealer, where they replaced the 02 sensor. several months later, she received a recall notice regarding an emissions problem which was performed on may 22, 2012. after the recall was performed, the power issue continued. *jb
