| Tl* the contact owns a 2011 chevrolet aveo. the contact stated that while driving with the cruise control set at 70mph the contact fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into six cable poles. the driver side frontal air bag deployed. the vehicle continued to accelerate at 70mph unto oncoming traffic and the contact was able to depress the brake pedal to cancel the cruise control. the contact believes that the cruise control cable should have disengaged at first impact. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. no injuries were reported. the vehicle was destroyed. the failure and current mileage was 40,000. | |||
