| The main abs control valve/module has failed on this vehicle twice. the first time was under warranty when it actually failed twice in one incident. once on the highway, and again when i was driving it home from the dealers service department. the first failure occurred after hard braking while on the freeway, the second occurred while driving with no braking involved. the idler arm problem is recent, with two failures occurring within 14 months. there is no major failure here, the component just wears out abnormally fast. this was replaced while under warranty also, but i do not have the paperwork to back it up. *ak | |||

| Consumer was traveling about 25mph as she was approaching a curb she went to turn, and the steering wheel wouldn't turn. there was a tree in front of vehicle. consumer applied brakes, and vehicle veered over into the grass area, hitting the tree. she called a tow truck which brought the vehicle to dealer's repair shop. a mechanic told consumer that the idle loosened from the frame. *ak | |||
