Since purchased of this vehicle the passenger seat has been used considerably less since the vehicle has been maintained by a single individual. it is not a used family vehicle. disappointed this bolt wasn't harden to withstand the seldom used mechanism.*ak

The problem that i am having is already a recall in the 1993 and 1994 chevy extended cab pickups the seat code in question is a95 there is a bolt that brakes and the seat then reclines without warning this happens due to wear in the seat frame i believe, i have purchased the repair parts and installed them and now the seat is working loose again it looks like the frame is weak around the bolt hole, if i recall correctly the bulliten at the dealer says that if the repair does not fix the problem that the seat frame may need replaced. i personally feel that general motors abdicated their responsibility to the consumer . i believe that this company should follow through with these recalls on all vehichles that could have this potential problem. my 1993 chevy blazer has the same seat code that is offered in the pickups ,the blazer, surburban, and the yukon could also have the same seat, and potentially the same problems.
