| Windshield wipers work intermittently. they will also just stop in the middle of the windshield and not move. sometimes they don't even come on, and sometimes when you turn them off they kept on running. this is an ongoing problem that is getting worse. the recall that chevy has issued is for 94' but they tell me that mine doesn't fall within the vin # that they are recalling. this is going to be a real problem within a month or so when we have snow because rain doesn't work for that. i have called chevy and the customer service representative that i spoke to has informed me that they are getting a lot of calls daily from people who own 94 vehicles who are having problems but are not part of the recall because of their vin #'s. *la | |||

| While driving at interstate speeds, i encounter a thunderstorm. when i tried to turn on my windshield wipers, they would not work. i slowed and pulled off to the side of the road. after turning them off and on many times, they suddenly began to work again. since then i have learned that chevrolet has a recall (manufactures campaign no. 98043) on my year model truck (1994) for visual systems: windshield wiper and washer. however, upon contacting my local dealer and chevrolet, i found out that my truck does not fall under this recall. i also have two friends who have experienced the same problem on their 1994 and 1995 trucks. niether of these trucks were covered by the recall. i believe the recall should be expanded to cover additional trucks in these year models. any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated! | |||

| Windshield wipers quit working without warning ,this vehicle is not included in the present recall, but is a serious safety issue that should be addressed. the g.m. dealer replaced this at my expense due to me almost having a serious accident. the passenger side seat does not lock in place all the time and has almost thrown people into my windsheild. this problem has been to the g.m. dealership 3 times to be repaired, and has yet to be repaired. this was even while this vehicle was under warranty. *ak | |||

| Wiper motor works when it wants to. after i investigated, it seems as if the circuit board is loose in the housing causing loss of proper circuit connection. after moving harness connector the circuit board moves back into position and makes contact with with proper connection and wipers work correctly. | |||
