POWER TRAIN - MANUAL TRANSMISSION
09/28/199911/01/1994
The transmission went out on our truck. it is only 5 years old, with 61,153 miles. the dealership has us contact their customer service, who in turn told us the vehicle was too old & too many miles for any help from them. we had a estimate from a private shop prior to taking the truck to the dealership. both places said we needed a new transmission. i don't feel like the truck is old enough or the mileage is high enough to justify the transmission going out. this truck was sold with a work package which included the towing kit. it has not been abused in any way. i feel like chevrolet is not standing behind their product. i hope that you are able to help us in some way.
