| Dt: the contact states that 1994 chevrolet c 2500 silverado has a problem with the windshield wipers. the windshield wipers will work and stop in the middle of a cycle. then, has to wait a couple of minutes before they will come again. there is a recall on the windshield wipers, but the contact's vehicle is not included in the recall due to vin. the contact called gm, and they told him that he was not included in the recall. also, spoke with his local dealer, and the dealer informed him of the same thing, he was not included in the recall due to vin. the contact has not had the windshield wipers fixed as of yet.*ak | |||

| Windshield wipers do not work sometimes and do at other times. recently, in a heavy rain on the highway the windshield wipers did not come on when activated. after a minute or two they sometimes come on. other times they may work perfectly. the chevrolet dealership said there was a recall for my year model and a common problem for this vehicle but my model did not qualify for the repair due to vin. this is very dangerous situation, and i have had to pull over on occasion, especially when my family is in the vehicle because i could not see to continue driving. any help on the situation would be greatly appreciated . *ak | |||
