| Tl* the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet camaro. the contact stated that the driver was traveling over a two mile stretch when the vehicle suddenly and rapidly accelerated without warning. the vehicle accelerated to 110 mph and proceeded to travel through a four-way stop sign. the driver then engaged the emergency brake in an attempt to stop the unintended acceleration and the rear of the vehicle became erratically uncontrollable. the vehicle then traveled over a curb and crashed into the side of a residence. the air bags failed to deploy. the driver was killed in the impact. the vehicle was not inspected for the cause of the failure. a police report was not filed. the failure and the current mileage was 22,000. the vin was not available. | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet camaro. the contact stated their son was driving the vehicle over a two mile stretch when the vehicle suddenly accelerated. the sudden acceleration caused the driver to speed through a four way stop sign at 110 mph. the driver pulled emergency brake in an attempt to stop the vehicle. that caused the driver to loose control of the back end of the vehicle and the vehicle went over a curve and hit the side of a house. the contact stated that the air bags did not deploy on impact. the vehicle was destroyed and there was no inspection. the failure mileage and current mileages were 22,000.rl | |||

| I was driving approximately 60 mph on a county road & upon approaching the city limits i put on my brakes to slow down & they failed to work. i tried again several more times & they still failed to work. i was quickly approaching a red light, & several cars that were stopped at this red light, & i put both feet on the brakes & was barely able to contain my car. it slowed down finally, just inches away from the car in front of me, but it was continuously reving up by itself while i still had both feet on the brakes. it was still trying to accelerate by itself. i panicked & threw it in park & then it just shut off by itslef. i was able to crank it again & drive home. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet camaro. while the contact was driving approximately 5 mph in the driveway, the vehicle suddenly increased acceleration up to the speed of 15 mph. the vehicle failed to slow down after braking numerous times and crashed into the garage door. the front end of the vehicle had minor damage to the exterior paint. there was no personal injury. one month prior to the failure the led warning indicator displayed a reading of a reduction in the engine power, and the engine power became extremely low causing the vehicle not to accelerate over 35 mph. the throttle body was replaced by the dealer to correct the problem. the vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. the failure mileage was 1,200. js | |||
