Tl-the contact owns a 2011 chevrolet camaro. the contact stated upon starting the ignition the engine warning light illuminated continuously. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where they detected the rear differential was severely damaged as a result to excessive metal fragments in the gear box oil. the vehicle was repaired for the engine warning indicator and the gear box oil was replaced. the engine warning indicator malfunction persisted after the repair. the vehicle was taken back to the dealer three to four times for the engine warning failure and unknown repairs related to the rear differential. the other repairs performed consisted of the replacement of the rear differential bearings and, rear passenger side wheel hub. an inspector diagnosed the vehicle which there was no resolution. after the most recent repairs were performed, the contact was driving and a loud rattling noise emitted from the transmission with multiple engine misfires. the vehicle suddenly stalled and was towed to the dealer who detected the rear differential housing was leaking. in addition, there was damage to the cam-shaft and cylinders. the vehicle was in the process of being repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the defects. the approximate failure mileage was 3,608. kmj | |||

While driving my 2011 camaro rs the engine warning light came on then the power train disengaged momentarily all warning lights and esc failed. the auto transmision would not shift out of 2nd or 3rd gear and the steering became unstable. warning bells and door locks went off. this car is unsafe to drive and has been returned to the dealer. despite three times to repair the esc, the car continues to fail. |
