On more than one occasion, the cigarette lighter has been launched out after being heated up. it has landed in my lap while driving as well as going under the car seat while driving. this is very dangerous and i do not want to burn myself or have to try to find a red hot lighter under my seat while driving. i believe that this could cause an accident if someone was not aware that the lighter likes to launch itself out. dt

About a two years ago i noticed the air was blowing warmer than usual so i took my car in to get freon put in my car thinking it was low....after about 3 days, it started blowing warm again. i took it back and they thought there was maybe a leak, so they put dye in the system...i took it back 2 days later, and they found there were leaks throughout the entire system. i was told the entire system needed to be replaced, which was going to cost about $1500-$2000 (incl. labor) i was outraged by this, as the car wasn't even 5 years old!! i maintained the car just as i should have been. (i have a relative who is a mechanic, and so he always does the service on my car!) i am just curious if there are others with this same problem, and if so, what was done about it? *jb

The driver side seat belt fails to connect, only after numerous tries will it finally connect and stay fastened. the high pressure air conditioning line is rubbing on the radiator fan causing a hole in the line, which now needs to be fixed.*ak

I got a flat tire while driving on the highway. i used the jack issued by general motors to lift up my car to change my tire. i proceeded to remove the flat tire when the jack broke and dropped my car on the ground with no tire for support. i was not physically injured but it was quite possible that i could have been had i not been bending over to change the tire. *nlm |
