| Tl*the contact owns a 2000 chevrolet ck 2500. while driving 72 mph, the fuel gauge moved from empty to full. the gauge showed that there was a half tank of gas in the vehicle; however, the engine shut off and was out of fuel five miles later. the contact filled the vehicle to capacity with fuel and was able to drive to his destination. the vehicle was not diagnosed by a dealer. the failure is related to nhtsa campaign id number 06e043000 (fuel system, gasoline). the failure and current mileages were 232,000. | |||
