I had chevrolet part number 15622861 connector for the 1999 chevrolet c3500 pick-up truck fail which allowed hot engine coolant to escape. although i did not come into contact with the coolant i feel there is a strong possibility for this to happen while working on the engine due to poor design/construction of the referenced connector. if you can send me an e-mail address than i can attach a jpeg picture i will be happy to send a picture and a drawing that depicts the failure. *nlm

Exhaust manifold bolts are snapping off one by one. this is causing exhaust fumes to enter the cab of the truck making the driver sleepy or sick from the fumes. after talking to g.m mechanics a lot of the chevy 3/4 ton with 6.0 motors are doing this. this is a bad safety issue. g.m denies there is a problem. *jb
