Tl- the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet cobalt. while parked the contact stated the rear passenger side tire had gone flat. the contact stated the vehicle was equipped with an inflater kit for the tire and not a spare tire. the contacts husband installed the inflater kit and when he attempted to activate it the inflater exploded causing him second degree burns on both right and left arms, feet, and legs. the contact was taken to the hospital for treatment. the doctors were unable to neutralize the substance and stated they needed the repair kit for examination in order to treat the burns. the vehicle was towed to the dealer. the technicians stated the inflater kit would have to be surrendered in order for the vehicle to be repaired. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 20,000. ds

All four rims, especially the front passenger were defective, but dealer is claiming impact damage. also, the front two tires have worn either due to defect workmanship or the defective rims. in either case, i have now had to replace both front tires on my new chevy cobalt purchased march 29, 2010. gm very uncooperative, closed all cases due to cannot contact complaintant, which is so untrue. i have provided three phone numbers every time i leave my name. they did reopen the rim and the steering issue. now the tires! what next?
