 Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet colorado. while attempting to make a left turn at 10 mph, the steering wheel and tires suddenly locked, which caused the vehicle to come to a stop. the contact noticed that the low range indicator light illuminated on the instrument panel. she then pushed the button to place the vehicle into regular range, which allowed the vehicle to accelerate. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that the transfer case encoder motor was not functioning properly. the vehicle was serviced, but the failure still persists. there was no crash due to the failure. the current mileage was 35,500 and failure mileage was 13,000.

 2007 chevrolet colorado with multiple safety problems. consumer stated that after the vehicle was purchased it was taken back for these repairs. front driver side door latch, hood latch, brake cable repositioned, and check engine light. *kb the consumer stated 3 days after purchasing the vehicle, there was a problem with the driver's side front door hinge. the nuts were not tightened to the main body frame, there was a rattling noise coming from the engine, but the problem was never diagnosed, the front passenger side headlight cover had to be replaced, which the dealer stated the seal was missing, the rotors were warped and the brake pads were glazed and last, the transmission would shift harder than normal. *jb

 Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet colorado. the clutch failed to go into gear while attempting to start the vehicle. there were no warning indicators. the vehicle had to be towed. the contact does not know what the dealer did to repair the vehicle. the vehicle failed to go into gear five days later and was towed again. the dealer replaced a cylinder and added fluid. the failure mileage was 800 and the failure mileage was 878.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet colorado. while driving 45 mph, the contact heard a knocking sound and the wheels felt as if they were shaking. the dealer replaced the upper intermediate drive shaft. the dealer must wait for the parts to arrive to replace the lower intermediate drive shaft. the dealer will also replace the fan motor. the current mileage was 1,908 and the failure mileage was unknown.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet colorado. a few days after the vehicle was purchased, the contact noticed that the gear would not shift into reverse. she went to the dealer and had the vehicle inspected. the mechanic informed the contact to shove the clutch in to shift the gear in reverse. she has to place the shift in every single gear before she can finally place it in reverse. she called the dealer and was given a paper stating that the vehicle was made to perform in that manner. the failure mileage was 187 and current mileage was 5,030. updated 09/18/07 *tr
