| Right after purchasing this vehicle i noticed after running the air conditioner that a moldy musty smell came from the car. my husband changed the cabin air filter, that only helped for just a few weeks. i had my service department check it out. they told me the condenser need a foam spray to kill the bacteria at my cost. i purchased the extended warranty on this vehicle but that would not cover the cost of the fix. i am very disappointed with this vehicle. i am also concerned that we are breathing all this contaminated air. *tr | |||

| We were driving on highway at approximately 70 mph when there was a vey load boom and we unexpectedly realized that the sunroof glass had shattered, some of which dropped down inside the suv. the sunroof shade was 7/8 way closed which prevented most of the glass from riding down on us. we were on the open road , no overpass, no road debries flying up, no evidence of anything striking the closed sunroof. climate condition , temp was around 50 degrees.partly sunny. we do feel that if the shade on the sunroof had not been almost closed, we would have been involved in a crash if this sunroof glass had dropped down on us. traffic at this time was fairly heavy! dealer claims there have been no other incidents of this type. inspection of the sunroof glass revealed that the center of the glass had shattered and cracked glass was still in the sunroof frame. the sunroof was closed at time of this incident. | |||

| Leaking front and rear 2008 chevrolet equinox, front is leaking into passenger and driver wheel well and back is leaking into spare tire well and running down into second row of seats. | |||

| Front bumper cover cracked inside left front wheel well where bumper wraps around. crack began when object in garage was bumped. cover material so thin that cover was damaged. cost to replace was $888.00 at dealership. if material and/or design was better, this never would have happened. manufacturer wants no part in replacing or fixing the problem. told me to send it to my insurance carrier. my complaint is the poor material involved and that gm wants repairs for poor quality repaired or replaced on the back of a consumers insurance. *tr | |||

| The 2008 equniox made by general motors has both rear underbase wheel water enrty into the spare tire compartment. the amount of water that enters into this area fills and runs forward to the brake and gas area. the entire floor base subject to water danaged and headaches. the dealer replaced the floor carpet, placed some sort of black glue on both sides of the entry area. but, the car ismells like rootten metal. please help | |||
