| Tl- the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet equinox. while driving approximately 70 mph the traction control light illuminated on the instrument panel. the vehicle began to spin out of control and it crashed into a wall. the air bags did not deploy. the passengers of the vehicle sustained bruises but were not severely injured. a police report was filed. the vehicle was towed to the an auto body shop. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated the vehicle should be taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 34,000. rvk | |||

| I was running my equinox 2008 when suddenly the light came on it was the stabilitytruck system service and we can't run it its the power stereering so hard we took the battery and is not working, i don not know what to do, tomorrow we have to take it to repair shop and it will cost a lot of many. | |||

| While driving the check stabilitrak light comes on, and the traction control light as well. there seems to be no problem in handling or operation, but the lights come on and off, then stay on. it has happened 5 to 6 times now. more often lately. the car has 48,000 miles on it. my wife drives it, but it has happened to me as well. when it haas done it for me we were driving at highway speeds. there were no detrimental effects that i noticed. i did not try pulling over and shutting the car off. | |||
