| Tl- the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet express. while parked the contact turned the ignition on and the vehicle accelerated. the contact was able to turn the vehicle off and then turned it back on and the failure did not duplicate. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technicians could not diagnose the failure. the failure occurred again while turning into a parking lot driving approximately 5 mph and applying pressure on the brake peddle the vehicle accelerated and crashed into a brick wall. there was a police report filed. the vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was being repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and a complaint was filed. the manufacturer stated they would send an inspector to inspect the vehicle. the approximate failure mileage was 3154. ds | |||

| Tl-the contact rented a 2010 chevrolet express e1500 cargo work van. while stopped at a toll both with his feet on the brake the rmps and engine increased and the vehicle launched forward. he re-engaged the brakes and the rmps came down. he stated the air condition was on during the failure. the failure only happen once. he stated he notified the rental vehicle company of the failure. the failure mileage was 650 miles and the current mileage was 1162. vwb | |||
